MyPoint PowerPoint Remote improves the slideshow for both the presenter and the audience in many ways:

- No need for the presenter to turn around and break eye contact with the audience, a quick glance at the iPhone / iPod /iPad is sufficient to see the content of the current slide.
- The presenter doesnt need a mouse or keyboard to transition to the next slide.
- Important comments or notes on a slide wont be forgotten - the notes for the actual slide are visible to the presenter.
- The presenter can take a look at the preview of the next slides and knows already what comes next before the slide is shown.
- Requests from the audience to go back to a certain slide can be fulfilled in an instant. The presenter can flip through the slides and pick the one that is requested.

Features:

* Slide navigation: back / next / goto slide via slide browser

* Network connection: Wifi, auto-detection via Bonjour
* Slideshows: Supports slideshows with notes, animations, and different screen ratios (e.g. widescreen)

Marker:
* Use it as a pointer for the current slide. A laser pointer is not needed any more
* Annotate or mark the slide with the pen in different colors

Timer:
* Progress bar, elapsed and remaining time lets you keep track of your time.
* Set duration per slide/presentation or use the timings stored in your PowerPoint presentation
* Can use the slide timings recorded via the PowerPoint rehearsal function

MyPoint PowerPoint Remote app good for

Interesting App that offers possibility to manage your slideshow from your iPhone, like you were at your desktop. Very intuitive, easy to understand and to master. The marker is not a gadget :-) Works on Mac !!! and offers expected functions !!! (not the case for all similar Apps…) Only one thing missing (that why 4 stars and not 5) : possibility to use hyperlink inserted in a slideshow :-( (I need to use my track pad for this action…)
The app works pretty perfect om my iphone with my Mac Book Pro using a private network hosted from my Mac. No lagging, no problems, fast, accurated, the laser, the next slides and everything else! Perfect! No kidding, it has changed my presentations! Perfect!
The current version doesnt fully support Powerpoint 2011 for Mac yet. But I exchanged some emails with the support already and they are working on fixing the issues. Even sent a hotfix to me so I could hold my presentation!
This App is just awesome!! With an iPhone u can create your own hotspot an connect it with your MacBook. Tipp for everyone: download it !!!
Ive tried a few programs like this, none of which worked well enough to use professionally. I actually used this one making a presentation for a large group of people and it worked. I used my iPad and was able to walk around the room without having to look at the screen behind me. One suggestion would be to increase the resolution for the iPad. I hope to keep using this.
Done 90% of my work, tried on both Mac and PC powerpoint 2003-2011. But sometimes need to restart the slide when it lost connection, it is kinda embarrassing. But hey, it is free!

Some bad moments

Application seems good but pointer is not working on mac. From Facebook It seems that they never answer since more than 3 years
It was the best. Now, it worsens each update. Bye bye mypoint. Thanks for the last years that you helped me.
The App is a joke, even though the idea is great. Installed the app on an ipod touch and the computer counterpart on a windows vista system. Allways when i want to connect with the computer i get the information that i have to update the computer version, which is not possible as this version is not available on the companys website. Thanks for wasting my time. What a joke!
Ppt animation is not rendered in the iPhone preview. Next slide preview shows slides in different sizes and confusing order Icons and buttons do not conform to Apple standard Does not implement rotated mode Gesture detection unreliable Offers a list of all PowerPoint presentations on the host computer in a single linear list which produces a list of some 500 files in my case Currently not usable for professional application
I tryed with URL not working With the program no working at all
This app is terrible. The connectivity is flakey, the UI is poorly implemented. A total waste of time.
